These tracks were found in a dry mud puddle in Jackson Bottom, a wildlife refuge along the Tualatin River near Portland, Oregon.

Answer

A ring-necked pheasant made the large track. It ran along the road, right to left, making only a single track in the mud puddle due to its long stride.

A killdeer ran from lower center to upper left of the photo. Each track is about the size of a quarter. The appearance of the two tracks differs because of the softness of the mud.

An opossum walked along the road left to right, leaving a hind print with its distinctive opposing thumb (right side of photo).

Another bird track is partially obscured below the opossum track. This was probably a robin.
