NOTE: This Midwestern species had been discovered in southern Oregon and Washington by the time Cary Kerst published Dragonflies and Damselflies of Oregon (2011), but is still a real rarity in this area. The specimens shown here were found by Zach Kemp during his first summer chasing dragonflies, a real accomplishment.
