NOTE: Weidemere's Admiral is found through much of the Great Basin. I netted the above specimen
in an area known for hybrids with Lorquin's Admiral. This individual may have a modest amount of
Lorquin DNA which would make it Friday's Admiral. Friday's has reduced orange on the wingtips and
a wide white band compared to the full Lorquin's. Dana Ross took a group of us up Arizona Canyon
south of Fields to see a small population of the hybrids.
