Cedar Hairstreak (Callophrys gyrnea)

aka Juniper Hairstreak, Nelson's Hairsreak, Mitoura gyrnea


Crooked River near Prineville. M. g. barryi is associated with juniper while other subspecies feed on cedar.




Siskiyous. M. g. nelsoni is paler and has weaker submarginal band. Its host plant is cedar.
