Note: This species can only be found in a few wet meadows (see https://www.fws.gov/wafwo/species/Fact%20sheets/MardonSkpper_factsheet.pdf). Washington State has listed it as endangered. The Xerxes Society submitted an application to list this declining species as endangered in the US.
