Spring White (Pieres sisymbrii)

Comments. This species is generally found on the east side of the Cascades. It is a small species in the checkered white group and has a Mustard Family host plant. It sometimes shows up as a singleton as it did for me while conducting a butterfly count in the Cascade-Siskiyou NM east of Ashland.
